About Enigmatic Allure Photography
Enigmatic means difficult to interpret or understand, mysterious; and allure means the quality of being powerfully and mysteriously attractive or fascinating. Allure can also tell in its verb form powerfully attract, charm; and tempt.
Our owner/managing photographer has 17 years of experience, is internationally/domestically published over 350times, possesses a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Photography, and is approximately 2 years away from an MFA (Master of Fine Arts) degree in photography. He combines years of experience in the business and practice with book knowledge, and in-depth education on concepts, development, and techniques that set our company apart from most photographers.
"A photograph is usually looked at—seldom looked into." This is why we strive to create an image that is difficult to interpret the full meaning immediately. We use complex concepts with in-depth composition to create a unique, deep image from which viewers can get the story.
We focus on visual storytelling, many photographers use more of a depictive style just capturing pictures that look good and tell how things are. We want our work to tell a beautiful story for whoever sees them. Our concepts are deeply thought out and we go through a deep thought process every time before pressing the shutter.
There are many things to look at in a Fine Art photograph as opposed to regular more depictive photographs. Both of them have their place but Fine Art Photographs have certain artistic involvements, framing methods, methods of emphasis, complex concepts, and many other terms we could bore you all day with. The important thing to know is our photographs go much beyond just what is happening or who they are we aim to tell a story to everyone who sees them.
"The moment an emotion or fact is transformed into a photograph it is no longer a fact but an opinion. There is no such thing as inaccuracy in a photograph. All photographs are accurate. None of them is truth." - Richard Avedon
